Privacy notice
This notice explains how SocialEvidenceTools (socialevidencetools.pro) handles personal information. The site is run by an Australian business, so we follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Wherever you live, you can ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and we will honor that request.
What we collect
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and keep it only as long as needed for that conversation and our records.
- Hosting data. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Analytics. We use Matomo analytics set up to run without cookies. It tells us which pages are read and which sites send visitors, so we know which guides are useful. We do not use it to identify you.
The site has no user accounts or sign-up forms, and we do not sell personal information.
Advertising
We may show ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see Google's explanation.
Requests and complaints
To ask for access, correction or deletion, or to raise a privacy concern, email hello@socialevidencetools.pro. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
